What is tested?
The test calculates your risk for three types of cancer using a polygenic risk score (PRS):
-
2803 genetic variants for breast cancer
-
91 variants for colorectal cancer
-
28 variants for skin melanoma
Unlike rare single-gene mutations like BRCA1/2, polygenic risk is based on the interaction of many genetic variants—so your risk may be elevated even without a family history.
The risk assessment also takes into account your age, background, and gender to create a prevention plan tailored to you, including clinical recommendations.
Result: Genetic counseling must be provided verbally, but the patient may waive the verbal counseling if the information is made available in writing. The waiver of verbal counseling or consent to written counseling must be documented.
What does this mean for you?

Additional important information:
-
This test is not a diagnostic procedure.
-

-
Rare high-risk mutations (e.g. BRCA1, BRCA2) are not included
-
Based on UK Biobank data and CE-certified as an IVD in the EU and UK
-
The underlying scientific models may evolve as new research becomes available.

Why early detection matters
One in four women will develop cancer at some point in her life
Routine breast cancer screening doesn’t start until age 50—but one in six affected women is younger than that
Only 40% of breast cancer cases are detected early—even though the survival rate in the early stage is 99%
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common types of cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths—55% of cases are considered preventable
Melanomas are the most dangerous form of skin cancer—and their incidence has risen sharply in recent decades
That’s why knowing your personal risk early can be crucial.
With the AnteCancerW genetic test, you gain clarity about your individual cancer risk—even before symptoms appear. A simple step to take control of your health.
Your results report includes
Simple cheek swab for at-home sample collection
Analysis of 2,803 (breast cancer), 91 (colorectal cancer), and 28 (melanoma) genetic variants
Your individual polygenic risk score
Comparison of your risk to the average population
Personalized 10-year risk projection
Clear recommendations for screening and early detection
Medical report for your physician
Scientifically based recommendations for integration into your healthcare system
